About The Position
Sigma Aldrich is seeking a Product Manager Operations to manage, oversee, and optimize the product lifecycle. This role involves driving process improvements, partnering with Engineering Operations, defining standards, leading governance, and supporting agile best practices.
Requirements
- Experience with Aha! for roadmaps, releases, features, dependencies, and workflows.
- Experience driving process improvements in product development.
- Experience partnering with Engineering Operations.
- Experience defining and enforcing product development standards.
- Experience with cross-functional planning (road mapping, scoping, prioritization).
- Experience leading governance for feature milestones, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
- Experience developing and maintaining documentation for product processes.
- Experience driving adoption of agile and product ops best practices.
- Experience supporting training and onboarding.
- Experience contributing to incident response and post-mortems.
Responsibilities
- Manage, oversee, and optimize the product lifecycle using Aha! (roadmaps, releases, features, dependencies, and workflows).
- Drive process improvements across the product development lifecycle to improve time-to-market and product quality.
- Partner with Engineering Operations to monitor and improve site performance, reliability, and performance metrics.
- Define and enforce product development standards and success criteria.
- Ensure product pods are completing cross-functional planning: road mapping, scoping and prioritization alignment.
- Lead governance for feature milestones, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
- Develop and maintain documentation for product processes, playbooks, and handoffs.
- Drive adoption of best practices in agile, product ops, and tool governance.
- Support training and onboarding for team members on Aha ! and product processes.
- Contribute to incident response and post-mortems for product/services outages affecting sites.
