About The Position

Hampr is a logistics platform for laundry - a physical, operationally complex business that lives or dies by the back of the house. Drivers move bags between customers and facilities. Operators run sort, wash, and fold lines. A growing footprint of facilities, vehicles, and staff has to stay coordinated, cheap, and on-time as we scale. The Product Manager will own the internal software that runs Hampr; the tools our drivers use, the dispatch logic that routes bags, the admin and CX consoles our team works out of, and (on an interim basis) the software our facilities run on. This is Hampr's second Product Manager hire and the first dedicated to operations. The north star for this role is cost per order. Every system you ship should make a measurable dent in driver minutes, dispatcher decisions, exception volume, or facility throughput. We move fast and learn in production. The PMs who thrive here run their own experiments, build their own prototypes, and use whatever gets them to a real answer quickest — Retool, SQL, AI-assisted code, whatever works. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be allergic to waiting for one.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management, with 2+ years owning internal tools or operational software for a business with real-world physical operations.
  • Experience working with delivery, logistics, field services, marketplace, or operator-platform company.
  • Comfortable defining data models, instrumentation, and operational logic.
  • Strong analytical instincts built on operational data and accountability for the outcomes.
  • You like to build! You'll happily throw together a Retool tool, run your own SQL, or use AI to prototype something testable, ship it to a small slice of the network, and let the numbers tell you whether to invest further. Polish comes after the bet is proven.
  • You've shipped operational software at a delivery, logistics, field services, or marketplace operator - and you've spent real time alongside the people using it.
  • You can hold three or four operational surfaces in your head at once and ruthlessly prioritize across them. The interim facility software scope means you'll have to defer real work in favor of bigger leverage - and understand when to make the tradeoffs.
  • You're comfortable working without perfect requirements. You go talk to drivers, dispatchers, and facility leads, then come back and decide.
  • You explain complex systems in plain language. Engineers, ops leads, and the leadership team should all get the same story from you.

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus: experience working alongside warehouse, fulfillment, or facility operations.

Responsibilities

  • Driver app and workflows. Route sequencing, pickup and dropoff flows, exception handling, and the comms layer between drivers, customers, and dispatch.
  • Dispatch and operations console. The command center our ops team runs the network from — assigning work, rebalancing routes, and triaging exceptions in real time.
  • Admin and CX tooling. The internal consoles for support, accounts, and operations — order lookup, credits, account changes, and exception resolution.
  • Facility software (interim). Order tracking, throughput visibility, and quality checkpoints inside our facilities. Transfers to a dedicated Facility Ops & Automation PM when our operations scale.
  • Data and instrumentation. Defining what gets tracked across your surfaces, keeping the numbers trustworthy, and building the dashboards your stakeholders actually use.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision
  • Paid time off
  • Equity. We're building something bigger than any one role, and the people who build Hampr deserve to share in what Hampr becomes. That's why every full-time employee who comes in now will receive equity. Whether you're closing your first deal or onboarding your hundredth account, you're part of the ownership story. We don't want you watching Hampr succeed from the sidelines — we want your name on it.
