About The Position

This role involves supporting, educating, motivating, and directing the International Product Management Team to achieve clear objectives, ensure accountability, and maximize productivity and profitability of product lines. The position requires a strong understanding of product cycles, market trends, and strategic planning to drive product success in international markets, particularly in Asia.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Two to three years of experience in product management, marketing, or merchandising.
  • Or combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Products.
  • Above moderate levels of English reading comprehension, speaking, and writing.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accountability for projects and objectives assigned by executives for the Product Management team.
  • Acts as a liaison to promote and enhance the product cycle between departments.
  • Ensures communication from meetings with various departments is relayed back to the Product Development team.
  • Interviews, hires, and trains quality staff to meet departmental needs.
  • Analyzes sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify product selections.
  • Collaborates with the Web Merchandiser to create digital product marketing materials (banners, landing pages, emails, etc.).
  • Provides detailed and precise reports to the Executive team illustrating trends, predictions, and relevant strategies.
  • Works with the Science department to review industry trends for ingredients and product launches.
  • Collaborates on the overall product image plan and layout for catalogue and web to maximize sales.
  • Works with the Executive VP to determine product strategy.
  • Researches and establishes pricing and margins to maximize profits.
  • Approves product samples to ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborates with the Quality Control Department to provide needed information such as label review, vendor issues, and manufacturing changes.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
