Product Manager Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
Patreon is hiring Product Management Interns to support its mission of funding the creative class and building a creator platform. Interns join a product team and collaborate with experienced product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists. They gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle and contribute to features for creators and fans worldwide. The internship is a 12-week program running May–August or June–September 2027, intended for students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. The role is based in San Francisco or New York under a hybrid work model. The posting initially describes two in-office days per week, and later states that interns based in office locations are expected to come in three days per week, excluding sick time and paid leave.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, business, economics, or a related technical field.
- Curious, resourceful, and eager to solve real-world customer problems.
- Passionate about consumer products and the creator economy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and comfort interpreting data to drive decisions.
- Expected to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
Responsibilities
- Support the definition and execution of new product features and improvements.
- Contribute to ideation, product definition, and roadmap discussions.
- Collaborate with design to define user experiences that meet creator and fan needs.
- Analyze product metrics to uncover trends and inform product decisions.
- Shadow user interviews and help synthesize insights into actionable opportunities.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and product reviews alongside the team.
