About The Position

Aon is seeking a strategic Product Manager to build and develop a new Intelligence function. This virtual U.S.-based role focuses on turning information into improved decisions, enhanced experiences, and stronger business results. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, evolving environment where plans, talent, and processes are still being established, bringing structure to ambiguity and independently turning emerging opportunities into valuable outcomes. The Product Manager will own the product strategy and roadmap for Intelligence, identifying where information, insights, and decision capabilities can create business value and translating those opportunities into scalable products and features. In partnership with Product, Experience, business, analytics, and technology teams, the role will advance Intelligence beyond standard reporting toward better decision support and smarter, increasingly adaptive experiences. This is a product management role centered on identifying the right problems, setting direction, making prioritization and investment decisions, and owning outcomes—not simply managing requirements or a predefined backlog.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of direct product management experience, with accountability for product strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, delivery, and outcomes.
  • Proven experience guiding products from problem identification through strategy, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable product solutions.
  • Strong product discovery, prioritization, requirements definition, and collaborator management skills.
  • Excellent business insight, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success operating in ambiguous or evolving environments, establishing direction, and independently driving progress.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence across organizational levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent experience in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Intelligence capabilities across the business.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities where information, analysis, and intelligence can improve results.
  • Manage products from problem discovery through strategy, requirements, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and continuous refinement.
  • Balance immediate business needs with longer-term investments, scalability, and reuse.
  • Establish success measures and evaluate product adoption, business impact, and value realization.
  • Make prioritization and investment tradeoffs based on business value, customer needs, strategic alignment, and feasibility.
  • Help define the product direction, capabilities, and ways of working for the emerging Intelligence function.
  • Advance the transition from traditional reporting toward self-service intelligence, decision support, and proactive and adaptive capabilities.
  • Create reusable products and capabilities from data and information to improve decisions and business performance.
  • Partner with Product and Experience teams to embed intelligence in customer and colleague journeys.
  • Enable personalization, recommendations, proactive interventions, and more relevant experiences.
  • Explore advanced analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to generate business value.
  • Promote proactive, data-driven decision-making rather than reactive reporting.
  • Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous business challenges and proactively identify opportunities.
  • Build effective partnerships across Product, Experience, business, analytics, and technology groups.
  • Develop efficient ways of working, prioritization techniques, and success criteria as the Intelligence function evolves.
  • Connect business needs and desired outcomes to relevant intelligence opportunities and capabilities.
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to collaborators and leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive measurable business outcomes.
