Subscriber acquisition is one of the most consequential product areas at Dow Jones: the engine that drives new paying subscribers and registered users into The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, MarketWatch, and beyond. As Product Manager II on the Commerce team, you will own the acquisition experimentation program end to end: the roadmap of A/B tests across paywalls and shop pages that directly moves conversion to order across a multi-brand portfolio reaching millions of readers. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will manage the full lifecycle of your experiments and initiatives, from hypothesis and test design through analysis and rollout, and act as the team's subject matter expert on acquisition experimentation. You will run the recurring experimentation forum, coordinating a large cross-functional stakeholder group, and set the standard for how the acquisition team designs, analyzes, and learns from tests. Reporting into the Commerce product leadership, you will work closely with marketing, engineering, design, data science, and subscription strategy. This is also a pivotal moment for product management as a discipline. AI tools are changing how product teams research, write, analyze, and collaborate, and we are actively reinventing how we work. This role is an opportunity to help lead that shift: modeling new ways of working, raising the bar for what a small, focused team can deliver, and pushing the people around you to think differently about how they spend their time and energy.
