About The Position

This Product Manager role is a key position to support our growth, and we are looking for an experienced product manager to join us! As a Product Manager on our growing team, you will be working cross functionally to design, build, and roll-out products and features that align with Drata’s strategy and vision. A top-notch product manager will have worked on numerous projects and have a firm grasp of how to satisfy consumers’ needs. Ideal candidates will be equally analytical and creative, and able to justify decisions to a range of stakeholders. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in changing environments and can build the roadmap to create innovative product offerings.

Requirements

  • 4+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management role
  • Deep customer empathy
  • Passion for identifying and solving problems with the ability to conduct effective customer interviews
  • Capable of breaking down a big vision into small deliverables
  • Ruthless prioritization of the backlog
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to pursue opportunities beyond current constraints
  • Exceptional collaboration skills working with PMs, engineers, designers, marketers, and customer success teams
  • Growth mindset with a desire for continuous improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a data-informed mindset

  • Experience with third-party risk management or third-party continuous monitoring, and/or procurement tools

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define long-term product strategy aligned with business objectives; develop compelling product vision and communicate value proposition to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Customer Research & Validation: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and market analysis to identify customer pain points; validate product concepts through prototyping and user testing methodologies
  • Product Roadmap Development: Create and maintain strategic product roadmaps with clear prioritization criteria; balance feature requests against business impact and technical feasibility constraints
  • Requirements Documentation: Write detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) and user stories; create wireframes and specifications that guide development and testing processes
  • Data Analysis & Metrics: Define and track key product metrics including user engagement, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction; use analytics to inform product decisions and optimization strategies
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends; analyze competitor products and pricing strategies to identify differentiation opportunities
  • Go-to-Market Coordination: Partner with marketing and sales teams on product launches; develop positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials for new features and products
  • Stakeholder Management: Present product updates to executive leadership; manage expectations and communicate trade-offs between scope, timeline, and resource constraints
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical constraints; participate in architecture discussions and make build-versus-buy decisions
