About The Position

The Product Manager II supports the rate-setting process and profitable business growth through product execution, complex project leadership, and large-scale process improvement. The role is assigned to teams supporting specific markets or countrywide initiatives, generally with less complexity than those assigned to Product Directors. It calls for strong organization and time management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to solve structured and unstructured business problems. The position works independently with limited direction and may manage one or more Product Analysts. The Product Manager II leads scheduling and deployment of rate revisions, multi-state product initiatives, and non-rate initiatives, ensuring alignment across impacted states. The role supports rate execution, filings, compliance and regulatory projects, and owns compliance and regulatory requests. It maintains product and underwriting documentation, coordinates implementation across internal teams, researches competitors, and develops recommendations for leaders and regulatory stakeholders. The role also develops junior analysts through training, guidance, and coaching. The position may be performed in a hybrid or remote arrangement. Employees living within 50 miles of a Farmers corporate office work in the office at least three days per week and may work virtually up to two days per week; applicants farther away may also be considered.
