Product Manager II

Garner HealthNew York City, NY
Hybrid

About The Position

Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system by partnering with employers to redesign how healthcare works. We apply proprietary clinical metrics and a large patient dataset to identify the best-performing doctors and use incentives to steer members to higher-quality care, resulting in better health outcomes and lower costs. In five years, we've helped millions access better care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We are a fast-growing company that recently raised Series E funding. This role is on the Data Ecosystem team, which owns the infrastructure and data powering Garner’s approach to healthcare. The Product Manager will shape how Garner ingests and governs data, ensuring quality and security from the outset.

Requirements

  • Experience with data ingestion and file-based data exchange (e.g., claims, eligibility, or payments data) and partnering closely with data engineering teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on using data to define success metrics, drive decisions, and measure outcomes.
  • Technical fluency — comfort working with data pipelines, writing basic SQL, building prototypes, and shipping minor features end-to-end.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort working across technical and non-technical teams and external integration partners.
  • A high level of autonomy and ownership — able to move quickly and independently in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • 1 year of working in an AI-forward development environment.
  • A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.
