About The Position

This is an 18-month project hire position with no guarantee of permanent placement. At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive and digital experiences for the Company’s vacation brands, Disney’s Parks and Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney! The Adventures & Expeditions Product Manager helps lead the strategy, development, & implementation of National Geographic Expeditions and Adventures by Disney workstreams, including CAR project support and ongoing feature, technical and sustainment enhancements to brand websites. This role includes support for digitally guest-facing initiatives, including ongoing API integrations, itinerary releases, and commerce-driving consumer journey enhancements supporting key business initiatives. This role works across various cross-functional business, technology, co-brand partner and vendor teams to develop strategy, define features and functionality, translate business requirements into appropriate Product artifacts (including, but not limited to, project briefs, strategy decks, user stories, acceptance criteria, go-to-market plans), determine impacts to the roadmap/prioritization and drive documentation as needed. This roll will serve as a representative for product management in day-to-day to activities related Marketing and Sales initiatives and projects for NGE and ABD brands.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of product management or related work experience.
  • Experience identifying, defining, and/or addressing technical, user and business issues in a fast-moving organization
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and achieve results across large matrixed organizations, plus the ability to build strong and balanced
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across all levels, including the ability to lead stakeholder requirements sessions
  • Experience collaborating with and achieving applicable results through others and the capability to interact and influence people over whom you do not have direct authority
  • Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action with a willingness to take personal initiative
  • Experience handling multiple high-priority, high-visibility work streams simultaneously and ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to tweak and fine-tune documentation and processes as business needs evolve, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology and all phases of software development life cycle
  • Has led small to medium digital and technology projects, including collaborating on estimates, scope, and plans
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.

  • Highly professional, organized, inquisitive, and extremely detail-oriented
  • Experience communicating across the broader organizations through various mediums (i.e. presentations, email, formal/informal meetings).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive thinker with the ability to thrive in an often ambiguous, fast paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of markets, products, and competitive landscape (including ability to predict and explain current/future trends), and the ability to translate (both verbally and in writing) technologies into business value.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Experience evaluating emerging technology solutions, including AI, and companies for fit and viability against use cases.
  • Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Role supports implementation of critical commerce and Marketing initiatives key to FY26/FY27 sales and engagement goals, including the following urgency-drivers: Project Atlas: day-to-day product POC for multi-phase A&E tech ecosystem uplift CAR project NGE Co-Brand Partner API Expansion: continued expansion of site API integrations driving efficiency and parity between Lindblad Expeditions and G Adventures co-branded partnerships NGE Signature Launch Phase: Signature Land to Signature transition, including product sunsetting, site integrations, and tool/feature development Itinerary Launch Readiness & Implementation Consumer Journey Enhancements driving first-time visitor/traveler funnel conversion
  • Define and deliver against guest and business needs.
  • Serve as a business facing contact for cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate with other Disney Experiences Tech & Digital teams to ensure alignment with product standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends to find strategic opportunities to use innovation to solve business problems.
