About The Position

Under limited supervision, this individual is responsible for leading the development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience. This includes leading the development and implementation of marketing, sales, and all other activities as needed to achieve necessary business outcomes. The role requires independently leading market, economic, and competitive evaluations that affect product performance, with a demonstrated ability to perform fact-based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights. The individual will also lead the completion of needed advanced data models and analytics, identify and prioritize new features (including market analysis, business case development, and driving prioritization), and lead/execute complex new product development initiatives across large, cross-functional work teams. This role actively coaches others in less senior positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in Product Marketing, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Five (5) years’ work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.
  • Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.
  • Expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring & solving skills.
  • Superior executive presence, human relations, networking and influencing skills.
  • Strong project management and project management leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate communication, and drive execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, market research, and business case analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing executive-level presentations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience serving as a Product Manager for API-driven products or platforms
  • Strong understanding of APIs as products and their value in enabling scalable, third-party integrations
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain technology, or related industries preferred
  • Proven ability to deliver products that support large-scale external (1P/3P) ecosystems
  • Familiarity with API strategy, product lifecycle management, and go-to-market considerations
  • Experience using tools such as Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-team collaboration
  • Background or interest in sustainability or green technology is a plus
