Product Manager, Growth

Jerry.ai
$110,000 - $140,000Remote

About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking a Product Manager to join their Growth team. This role will focus on the entire sign-up and purchase funnel for car insurance, from initial discovery to policy purchase. As the company grows and expands its offerings, this role will involve taking on increasing ownership of funnel improvements and feature launches. The Product Manager will report directly to the VP of Growth and will work closely with an engineering team based in China, requiring 3-4 hours of daily overlap with China business hours. The company has a fast-paced shipping culture with weekly sprints, aiming to launch products in 1-2 months. The growth team is small, offering significant scope and ownership.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, product management, or product/business operations.
  • Track record of independently owning ambiguous work and delivering clear outputs.
  • Comfort with funnel analysis, A/B test interpretation, or structured data work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — including the ability to synthesize messy signals into clear recommendations.
  • Willingness to maintain regular daily overlap with China business hours for engineering coordination.

Nice To Haves

  • Structured problem solver: Comfortable breaking ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses before reaching for a solution, as well as working with incomplete information.
  • Diligent: Impeccable follow-through; when owning something, nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Curious about customer psychology: Finds customer feedback intrinsically interesting and cares deeply about understanding what drives how customers think, feel, and behave.
  • Strong communicator: Can work effectively across engineering, design, analytics, and marketing — including across time zones. Calibrates how much context others need and gives it clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured product walkthroughs to map user journeys and surface friction points.
  • Own user feedback monitoring — synthesizing signals from app reviews, support tickets, and research into actionable insights for the team.
  • Drive bug triage and resolution in partnership with Engineering, ensuring quality issues are prioritized and closed.
  • Take on end-to-end delivery of product initiatives like landing pages and compliance-driven features.
  • Expand to more complex funnel work.
  • Contribute to A/B test design, funnel analysis, and experiment interpretation.
  • Develop an experimental mindset.
