About The Position

AngelList is seeking a Product Manager to build the future of venture fund operations. This role will own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Full Service, a product for emerging managers, and Scout Funds, a product aimed at increasing market share. The goal is to create an agentic experience where software runs the back office, allowing General Partners (GPs) to focus on raising capital and selecting investments. The product manager will be responsible for identifying workflows to automate, shaping the GP experience, growing fund formations, AUM, and retention, writing product requirements, and partnering with sales, solutions, and operations teams. Success in this role is measured by fund count, AUM, retention, and service quality.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Ideally, experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or another operationally complex domain.
  • Deep engagement with the VC ecosystem and a strong point of view on its future.
  • Fluency in fund mechanics (capital calls, distributions, NAV, K-1s) or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Actively builds with AI tools and understands the potential of automating fund operations.
  • Demonstrates ownership and closes the gap between formal PM scope and necessary actions for product success.
  • Customer-centric execution with a growth orientation, ability to ship and iterate quickly, and treat customer feedback as a primary input.
  • Sharp communication skills, including precise writing ability to turn edge cases into shippable requirements.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior leaders and perform hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the agentic strategy for both Full Service and Scout Funds products.
  • Identify and prioritize workflows for automation.
  • Shape the GP experience by handing off more firm operations to agents.
  • Engage with GPs to understand their needs and develop a sharp product point of view.
  • Grow fund formations, AUM, and retention by building a frictionless product.
  • Write product requirements that translate customer and operational needs into actionable engineering and design tasks.
  • Partner with sales, solutions, and operations to support existing managers and acquire new ones.
