The Product Manager role is within the ATP (Available to Promise) team, focusing on creating industry-leading intelligent solutions for best-in-class omni-channel guest experiences. This role is crucial for optimizing digital order fulfillment by balancing availability, fulfillment costs, and guest promises, leveraging business insights and analytics to advance Target's Supply Chain. The primary focus is to provide accurate availability and fulfillment information to Target’s digital guests, maximizing assortment for digital purchase, influencing store visits, enhancing the digital guest experience, and minimizing fulfillment expenses. Additionally, the role owns an internal configuration platform (GFC Guest Fulfillment Configurations) that manages digital order fulfillment logic. This involves collaborating with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Stores, Digital, Inventory, Loyalty, and Technology to build business strategy, prioritize functionalities, and represent product capabilities to engineering teams. The Product Manager will work within a product model, collaborating with their team and stakeholders to define plans and business objectives (OKRs). They will define and evolve fulfillment availability capabilities, translate needs into product opportunities and requirements, and lead prioritization based on guest and business value, operational impact, and technology investment. The role involves partnering across various departments to improve reliability, resiliency, performance, and scalability, while driving adoption of reusable enterprise capabilities. Enabling high-visibility events and new fulfillment capabilities through readiness criteria and success measures is key. The Product Manager will also partner with business and operational teams on fulfillment configuration and controls, focusing on self-service, usability, transparency, and governance. Troubleshooting operational issues and coordinating resolutions across impacted products is also a responsibility. Maintaining product strategies and roadmaps, managing dependencies, and communicating priorities, risks, and tradeoffs to leadership are essential. The role requires using quantitative and qualitative insights to evaluate outcomes and continuously improve the guest experience, adoption, operational efficiency, and enterprise reliability.
