About The Position

The Product Manager-Engineering develops and maintains product roadmaps for assigned products or capabilities, aligning them with business strategy, customer needs, and regulatory requirements. The role translates business objectives, user feedback, and market insights into product requirements, feature priorities, and success measures; analyzes product performance, adoption trends, and KPIs; and recommends improvements. It partners with business, technology, and design stakeholders on solution design, feature delivery, and user experience throughout the product life cycle. The role also conducts market and competitive research, develops business cases and product positioning and communications, and helps prioritize initiatives and enhancement requests. The added description presents the role as Product Owner for Pro Control and Pro Control Batcher, products supporting feed mill operations and production-animal feeding. It defines product direction and an 18-month roadmap, translates customer and business needs into requirements and backlog priorities, and coordinates with software, hardware, support, implementation, and business teams. The role engages customers, audits and optimizes systems, supports troubleshooting and product delivery, and explores applications of AI, analytics, and automation. It requires a combination of office, remote, and field work, approximately 30%–40% travel, and participation in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule supporting customers operating 24/7. The posting also contains a separate set of product-management qualifications referencing life sciences, healthcare, market access, financial systems, Salesforce, and English/French bilingualism. These qualifications are included as stated in the supplied description, although they differ in focus from the feed-mill product-owner material.
