About The Position

Stanford Federal Credit Union is seeking a high-energy, compassionate, and collaborative Product Manager for their Digital Banking team. The Product Manager will be responsible for the performance of digital banking products like Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and Online Account Opening. This role involves contributing to product strategy, prioritization, roadmap execution, and delivering measurable outcomes. The Product Manager will act as the single point of ownership for designated digital products, collaborating with design, engineering, compliance, risk, fraud, and operations to ensure secure, compliant, and impactful member experiences.

Requirements

  • Three years to five years of Product Manager experience.
  • Knowledge of product management driving market-leading software solutions, with ability to work with local or remote software development teams to transform product requirements into member-facing solutions.
  • Knowledge of managing product priorities and driving teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide product presentations and communicate, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent organizational skills.
  • Possess versatility and flexibility to serve as backup for other positions successfully.
  • A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team and key internal stakeholders to define, create, and deploy next-generation digital capabilities.
  • Evaluate existing services, prioritize enhancements, and address defects to improve stability, usability, and member satisfaction.
  • Author and maintain clear business and functional requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and interface specifications.
  • Conduct market, competitive, and user research to identify opportunities and inform product innovation.
  • Define and maintain short-term and long-term product roadmaps aligned with member needs, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and guide data-driven decisions.
  • Serve as a product advocate by clearly communicating vision, progress, and value to internal partners and leadership.
  • Collect and synthesize member and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve digital products and experiences.
  • Partner with training and enablement teams to ensure internal teams understand product functionality and changes.
