Sr. Product Manager, Content Supply Chain

StarzGreenwood Village, CO

About The Position

The STARZ UX team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead discovery for internal tooling, turning ambiguous requests into validated, buildable solutions that integrate seamlessly into the Starz software ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a structured thinker who prioritizes understanding problems and their context. You will design and conduct research, synthesize findings to drive alignment, and use your design and UX literacy to collaborate effectively on solution design. Success in this role means bringing rigor to ambiguity and applying that same discipline to all workflows, including in your interactions with AI-augmented product work. In the day-to-day, this role will work closely with product leadership to intake new projects. Then, utilizing strong product sense and best practices, craft a discovery plan to fully understand the problem. You will be responsible for creating various discovery artifacts like interview scripts, process workflows, and diagrams to drive alignment. No two projects are exactly alike so strong product instincts to determine which methods and artifacts to utilize is just as important. While crafting a solution, you will work closely with product designers to define the information architecture, mental models, and collaboratively iterate through the design phase ensuring efficiency and clarity for our internal users. You will garner alignment on scope from end users and engineering that balances effort and impact. Finally, you will kick off development work with a full discovery package, including requirements and project overviews. Reporting to the Director, Product Management, you’ll join a low-ego, high-curiosity team that values collaboration, continuous learning, and growth. We dedicate time and resources to your development and career progression through regular 1:1s, opportunities for innovation, and dedicated education budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Demonstrated ability to distinguish a problem from a solution; track record digging into solution-first requests to surface the underlying need
  • Experience planning and conducting user research: interviews, contextual inquiry, synthesis across multiple sources
  • Structured analytical thinking — you know what you're testing, what variables you're holding constant, and how you'll measure whether something worked
  • Experience crafting alignment deliverables: presentations, process flows, and visual artifacts that drive agreement among both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluency in information architecture and design principles; experience contributing to wireframing and IA as part of collaborative solution development
  • Strong written communication: the requirements, process flows, and briefs you write are specific and buildable
  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams alongside designers and engineers
  • Experience with custom application development as well as third party integrations, including a strong ability to weigh cost-benefit tradeoffs of build vs. buy decisions
  • High emotional intelligence: you have the ability to work effectively across a spectrum of stakeholders, adapting your approach based on the audience to build trust and achieve company and team goal

Nice To Haves

  • Background in content operations, media, or complex internal tooling environments
  • Strong product taste and instincts: you aren’t rigid and adapt your discovery approach based on the problem at hand
  • Design discernment: the ability to evaluate whether a solution is actually good, not just whether it's complete
  • Systems thinking and operational mindset: you proactively identify ways our team can work more effectively and operationalize our ways of working and outputs
  • Experience applying a structured, test-and-measure mindset to AI tools and AI-augmented workflows, especially experience crafting system instructions or skills and then critically evaluating their performance

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end discovery: from understanding a problem brief to planning research, running user interviews, synthesizing findings, crafting a solution design, and handing off a validated requirements package
  • Translate ambiguous or solution-first stakeholder requests into well-framed problem statements, surface the underlying need before committing to a direction
  • Design research plans tailored to specific open questions, utilizing product instincts to select the right method for each question rather than following a fixed playbook
  • Conduct user interviews and contextual inquiry; synthesize findings across transcripts, notes, and observations into structured, actionable insights
  • Produce clear visual and written deliverables that drive alignment on project requirements and scope: presentations, process flows, wireframes, and scope documents for stakeholders, business users, and project teams
  • Evaluate solution directions through a cost-benefit lens; think through tradeoffs explicitly before recommending a path forward
  • Produce handoff packages including requirements and acceptance criteria specific enough for delivery teams to execute without ambiguity
  • Collaborate with the UX design team on information architecture and solution direction; bring enough design literacy to contribute meaningfully, not just react to proposals
  • Apply structured thinking to new tools and workflows, including AI-augmented ones: know what you're testing, what variables you're controlling for, and how you'll know whether it worked
  • Maintain and evolve project artifacts across discovery cycles so knowledge compounds, what was learned informs what comes next

Benefits

  • Medical, Vision, and Dental
  • Annual discretionary bonus and merit increase
  • Generous sick days, vacation days, holidays, and wellness days
  • 401(k) company matching
  • Tuition Reimbursement (up to graduate degree)
