Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of related experience in the HVAC industry

Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend product line objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts
  • Direct market development, sales promotion, distribution and pricing policies
  • Analyze market trends and potential
  • Prepare sales forecasts for use in planning manufacturing operations and controlling inventories
  • Recommend modifications of the assigned product or products
  • Maintain contacts with distribution centers and important customers to follow up on promotion efforts
  • Maintain contact with the salesforce to monitor trends and keep informed of salesforce needs
  • Develop methods for field testing merchandising programs to determine public acceptance
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and advertising programs, and recommend improvements or changes
  • Review complaints and suggestions relative to assigned product or products
  • Participate in the preparation of advertising programs for the assigned product or products and supervise market research
  • Develop and recommend new product concepts
  • Coordinate departmental activities with other departments, such as engineering and manufacturing, to ensure synergism of objectives
