About The Position

The Product Manager for Chemistry & Physics at FLINN SCIENTIFIC INC will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of educational products related to chemistry and physics. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet market needs and align with the company’s strategic goals. The Product Manager will play a critical role in driving innovation and maintaining the company’s reputation as a leader in science education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within the scientific industry, specifically focusing on chemistry and physics products.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing scientific products from concept through commercialization.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, to drive product development and market strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex scientific data and translate it into actionable product strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the scientific industry.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving product goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development process for chemistry and physics educational materials, from concept to launch.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs, using insights to inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate with educators, scientists, and internal teams to design and develop high-quality educational products.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including updates and enhancements to existing products.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote new and existing products.
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback, using data to drive improvements and innovations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all product offerings.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams and customers, enhancing product knowledge and usage.
