About The Position

This role is for a Product Manager focused on the Cell Line and Cell Culture Media portfolio within Process Solutions. The position involves driving tactical and strategic initiatives to foster innovation and growth for a strongly growing portfolio. The Product Manager will be responsible for the operational management of the existing portfolio throughout its lifecycle, ensuring customer success, supporting new product launches, and optimizing the portfolio. The role requires representing the customer and business perspective in internal projects to maintain a focus on innovation and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business or related
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the Life Science and/or pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Strong background in Marketing and Product Management.
  • Regulatory and technical knowledge in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Bioprocessing, and/or Cell Line and Cell Culture applications.
  • Fluent in English

  • Project management skills with a proven track record of successful implemented improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategy and sales targets by operationally managing an existing portfolio of Cell Lines and Cell Culture Media throughout their life cycle.
  • Proactively manage the existing portfolio by understanding day-to-day needs and closing process gaps and potential risks early.
  • Handle and ensure the success of product line inquiries, critical quality issues, and critical supply disruptions.
  • Drive proactive communication in direct customer contact, supporting key stakeholders in sales.
  • Support new product launches, including the collection of product information, coordination of internal functions, and ensuring product availability on time.
  • Enable portfolio optimization by periodically reviewing product line performance and long-tail analysis, including portfolio rationalization.
  • Represent the customer and business perspective in internal projects.
