Product Manager

Genies is seeking a Product Manager to join their team in Los Angeles. As a Product Manager, you will collaborate with the Director of Product and CEO to define and execute the product vision and roadmap. Your responsibilities will include delivering innovative user experiences, incorporating data and market analysis to make informed product decisions, and motivating cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and execution. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of Product Management experience, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and experience with consumer mobile and web-based products. Bonus points if you have experience with AI and emerging digital phenomena like VR/AR and the Metaverse.

• Collaborate with the Director of Product and CEO to define and execute on product vision and roadmap
• Deliver innovative user experiences that reinforce, enhance, and extend the brand equity of Genies
• Identify trends and key insights to drive product iterations, user growth, and retention
• Make key product decisions and feature recommendations to enhance the overall user experience
• Own cross-functional tasks between engineering, design, art & animation, business, data science, and operations
• Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to make informed product decisions, strategies, and roadmaps
• Motivate, support, and drive teams of engineers and cross-functional department leads to ensure product quality, delivery, performance, and execution
• Understand Genies' strategic and competitive position and stay on top of the latest market and consumer trends
• Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
• Utilize consumer insights and market intelligence to deliver new product features and ideas
• Partner with engineering teams to drive execution of product roadmaps
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail
• Have experience with consumer mobile and web-based products, preferably in social media apps and platforms, UGC tools, developer tools, or mixed reality experiences/platforms
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Have experience with Artificial Intelligence and the latest breakthroughs in LLMs (bonus)
• Demonstrate a coherent vision around emerging digital phenomena like VR/AR, Web 3, the Metaverse, etc. (bonus)

• 3+ years of Product Management experience within consumer facing applications and products (social networking experience a plus)
• Experience managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, product roadmap and prioritization development, and product launch
• Utilize consumer insights and market intelligence to deliver new product features and ideas
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to drive execution of product roadmaps
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills; a meticulous eye for detail with a passion for delivering innovative user experiences/products
• Experience with both consumer mobile and web-based products; preferably Social Media Apps & Platforms, UGC tools, Developer Tools, or Mixed Reality Experiences/Platforms
• Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred)
