About The Position

Carvana is seeking candidates for its inaugural Product Management Apex program, an early career opportunity focused on technology and product development. This program offers a unique chance to accelerate your career within a fast-growing used auto retailer. As part of the Apex program, you will work closely with engineering, design, and analytics teams to scope projects, write requirements, and continuously improve the customer experience. You will experience total ownership, starting with tactical tasks and progressing to strategic leadership, including requirements drafting, feature prioritization, and impact assessments. A key focus will be AI integration to drive the roadmap for customers researching, buying, selling, and owning vehicles. You will also conduct ad hoc analytical deep dives using tools like SQL, CosmosDB, or Splunk to glean insights and share them with the broader organization. Cross-functional partnership with Data Science, UX, and Customer Care teams to embed AI into unified, conversational journeys is also a core component of the role.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience, ideally in product, analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Working familiarity with LLM product mechanics (e.g., prompting, grounding, and safety concepts).
  • Working familiarity with data tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Sigma.
  • Exposure to RAG architectures, tool-calling, or agent-based frameworks.
  • A strong eye for intuitive, delightful UX.
  • A genuine curiosity about consumer web and mobile products.
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
  • A sense of humor.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities
