About The Position

The Product Management Analyst supports Principal Managers in executing day to day operational activities related to supplier relationships and product management. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong supplier partnerships, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, and ensuring accurate and timely flow of information to drive business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty chemicals, distribution, manufacturing, or another complex B2B environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in specialty chemical or ingredient distribution.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Exposure to pricing analysis, forecasting, or product management.
• Understanding of industrial manufacturing markets including coatings, adhesives, plastics, rubber, construction, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with assigned principals by participating in trade shows, seminars, and meetings.
• Support Principal Managers by gathering and delivering supplier data including targets, product information, and sales metrics.
• Assist in identifying key market opportunities through market mapping and product recommendations.
• Respond to special pricing requests from the sales team and ensure accurate system entry.
• Coordinate communication between principals, sales teams, and technical contacts to ensure timely responses to inquiries.
• Support product launches and new product introductions in collaboration with principals and internal teams.
• Partner with internal resources to maximize contribution margins and business performance.
• Independently manage day-to-day activities for assigned minor principals.
