About The Position

Reliance is seeking a Product Management Analyst (Marketing) to join their team. This role involves supporting the Field with Inside Sales guidance, managing the Sales Catalogue with vendor partners, supporting the advertising calendar, performing ad hoc reporting, and contributing to the development of a Loyalty and Retention strategy for the Rental HVAC portfolio. Requirements

  • Postsecondary education in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ work experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement and collaboration with both internal sales groups and operations teams
  • Solid relationship building and ability to work within a team environment
  • Keen sense of urgency, self-driven and ability to triage based on business needs and criticality
  • Detail oriented, but with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Someone who is driven to take on challenges and find opportunities
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the HVAC, Construction, or Utilities industry is an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Experlogix software is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support the Field with Inside Sales type guidance – assist in navigating our Sales Catalogue and system, including finding packages, recommending products, generating expected gross margin outcomes
  • Working with our vendor partners, build and maintain the catalogue of Sales Packages available for sale, including products within a package, pricing, and discounts available
  • Supporting the 52 week Advertising calendar (work with MarComm, Finance, Legal, and Field teams to develop the promotional calendar across Canada)
  • Ad hoc reporting to understand key drivers of results, vendor mix, average ticket, rental mix, top packages etc.
  • Support the development of a Loyalty and Retention strategy for the Rental HVAC portfolio
  • Other projects/tasks as assigned
