About The Position

The Product Loading Technician is responsible for operating equipment to unload product from railcars, ensuring proper connection and disconnection of unloading equipment. This role involves inspecting and maintaining equipment, monitoring quality during unloading, and adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. The technician will also coordinate with logistics teams, maintain accurate records, and possess the physical ability to perform the job duties in various environments.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic mechanical skills for operating and maintaining unloading equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb railcars, and work in various weather conditions.
Valid Driver's License Required.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Experience in industrial or warehouse operations, particularly with railcar unloading, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform minor maintenance or adjustments on unloading equipment as required.
Monitor quality during unloading, ensuring it meets company standards.
Document and report any discrepancies or contamination issues.
Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and spills.
Comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies regarding safety and handling.
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely unloading schedules.
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any operational issues or delays.
Maintain accurate records of unloaded quantities, railcar IDs, and related documentation.
