About The Position

As a Product Lifecycle Supply Chain Project Manager at Cisco, you will serve as a critical bridge between product development, manufacturing, and global supply chain operations. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects to ensure the seamless introduction, sustainment, and end-of-life management of Cisco’s industry-leading hardware and software solutions. You will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end supply chain readiness, mitigating risk, and driving operational excellence throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the ability to influence collaborators across global organizations to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, or a related operational role within the technology sector.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) processes and supply chain fundamentals.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant technical field
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems (specifically SAP) and PLM software (such as Agile).
  • Deep knowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio and manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Experience in leading Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and get results in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain projects for new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining engineering changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing Operations, to ensure supply chain readiness.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle, developing contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budget requirements, providing clear reporting to leadership on status and critical path achievements.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance supply chain agility, reduce costs, and improve cycle times.
  • Ensure adherence to Cisco’s quality standards, compliance requirements, and sustainability goals throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
