About The Position

The Product Lead will play a key role in defining and delivering services that enable Amplify Care’s partners (vendors and jurisdictions) to deploy standards-based, integrated clinical software products. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally internally with the product & development team and externally with end users and other key partners to help deliver solutions that support clinicians and healthcare organizations provincially and nationally.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology, EMRs, or clinical systems.
  • Deep understanding of FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7, interoperability standards, and clinical workflows and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and deploy high-impact solutions with measurable benefits to end-users.
  • Strong technical fluency across REST APIs, mobile development, authentication standards, and cloud platforms.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum, product discovery, partner management, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience working with clinicians, government agencies, and standards-focused working groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting at conferences and executive-level forums.

  • Experience in Standards Conformity Assessment as a participant or evaluator considered an asset
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, and data/reporting tools (SQL, SSIS, Power BI, Tableau) considered an asset
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) considered an asset
  • Pragmatic Institute – Product Management Level 2 (Foundations + Focus) considered an asset
  • ITIL Foundation V3 considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Employ knowledge and experience in product delivery - including discovery, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and cross-functional alignment - to define and operate services that enable and verify vendor adoption of FHIR-based standards in integrated clinical software solutions.
  • Partner with jurisdictional and vendor software architects and engineering teams to define high-quality technology solutions that respond to clinical requirements and achieve adoption.
  • Drive interoperability initiatives that employ HL7/FHIR-based data exchange, pan-Canadian eReferral standards and SMART on FHIR through collaboration with provincial and national working groups.
  • Define and lead productization of reusable solutions.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, partner engagements, and executive presentations.
  • Contribute to the decision-making that sets the architectural direction.
  • Provide support and guidance on various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other digital health technology issues and tool development.
  • Make recommendations regarding a broad range of quality Improvement initiatives, including the development of tools for future EMR enhancements
