Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.
Possess a High School diploma/GED, or equivalent, (completed and verified prior to start)
One-year (1) of experience in a laboratory, quality, manufacturing, testing, calibration, or technical work environment in a private, public or military environment
Basic computer skills, including data entry and record documentation.
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Lab Technician, Quality Technician, or in a similar technical role.
Experience performing testing, sample analysis, and following documented test methods.
Experience using, maintaining, and/or performing calibration of laboratory or testing equipment.
Experience with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes, documentation, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

Lab Tech responsible for preparing, operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory and testing equipment; ensuring compliance with established test methods, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Perform QC/QA testing, conduct calculations, and analyze samples and test data to verify conformance to specifications, identify variability, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions.
Document and communicate testing results, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports to support quality and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and external testing/regulatory organizations; provide training on testing procedures and equipment usage.
Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment while supporting Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety objectives and completing additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
