The person hired for the position of Product Inspector Team Member will work at our Angleton, TX. Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.
  • Possess a High School diploma/GED, or equivalent, (completed and verified prior to start)
  • One-year (1) of experience in a laboratory, quality, manufacturing, testing, calibration, or technical work environment in a private, public or military environment
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and record documentation.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Lab Technician, Quality Technician, or in a similar technical role.
  • Experience performing testing, sample analysis, and following documented test methods.
  • Experience using, maintaining, and/or performing calibration of laboratory or testing equipment.
  • Experience with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes, documentation, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

  • Lab Tech responsible for preparing, operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory and testing equipment; ensuring compliance with established test methods, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Perform QC/QA testing, conduct calculations, and analyze samples and test data to verify conformance to specifications, identify variability, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions.
  • Document and communicate testing results, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports to support quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and external testing/regulatory organizations; provide training on testing procedures and equipment usage.
  • Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment while supporting Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety objectives and completing additional duties as assigned.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
