About The Position

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Product Innovation Manager to join their team. This role will report to the Operations Leader and will be responsible for developing and supporting a product innovation agenda. The Product Innovation Manager will identify technologies that can improve performance and potentially reduce costs, while also enhancing the consumer experience. This individual will collaborate with operations and support teams to schedule projects and ensure successful delivery of results. The role involves identifying and creating innovative products, platforms, and processes, analyzing data for improvements, managing projects from inception to completion, and communicating project status and challenges to executives. Responsibilities also include analyzing market trends, scheduling product innovation meetings, researching materials and equipment, working with external vendors and internal departments on technology needs, managing new technologies through all processes, documenting innovations, and maintaining a library of new technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree on design or engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in pre-press and designing
  • Experience as project management, application of lean six sigma, Lean or Business Analysis.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of operations experience.
  • English language domain, recommendable Spanish if possible
  • Multifunctional teams’ coordination
  • Strategic thinking mindset and experience developing project roadmaps
  • Demonstrates analytical skills
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Highly organize with excellent time management abilities
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships with all levels of an organization and outside of the company.
  • Ability to lead others, with and without direct authority.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a project or operational team.
  • Focused on results, skills in project management.
  • Ability to work under pressure: Planning for delivery according to business requirements
  • Self-driven to excel and seek out opportunities and build visibility
  • Detailed oriented with excellent follow up practices

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred in Business, Operations, Engineer or Technology.
  • Preferred certifications: Project management professional (PMP), Scrum master (CSM).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and creating innovative new products, platforms, & processes aligned to markets and business needs.
  • Analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes
  • Managing projects from start to finish including working with other teams within organization to ensure objectives are met
  • Communication regularly with top executives about status of projects and challenges facing the company.
  • Analyze data and market trends to generate insights that will inform the innovation process
  • Schedule and attend Product Innovation meetings between clients and GC production
  • Research options for materials and equipment needs for individual innovations
  • Identify and work with outside vendors on technology needs
  • Identify and work with GC Departments on Technology needs
  • Manage new technologies through all processes to ensure no failures in process
  • Document all processes and materials for each innovation
  • Maintain a library of new technologies and innovations
