Our New Product Implementation Manager: The ideal candidate would be someone who…. is responsible for executing product implementations for new products and product sub‑components, from integration through to product launch, within established implementation frameworks and standards. is accountable for delivering assigned implementations with a focus on speed, quality, and cost, while escalating technical, commercial, or scope risks as required. has an engineer mindset, have proven customer service skills, critical thinking, ability to work in a high-volume environment and strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 3–5 years’ experience in product implementation, project management, or engineering within a manufacturing or product development environment
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze product costs and understand underlying cost drivers
  • Proficiency in Excel and project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within defined scope and escalation paths
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 10%
  • Clear Background Checks - Credit and Criminal and satisfactory references
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Able to work independently with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

  • Execute new product and product sub‑component implementations within established implementation frameworks and standards.
  • Plan and manage implementation activities for assigned products, including schedules, deliverables, and cross‑functional coordination.
  • Support change management activities for existing products and processes in line with approved change control procedures.
  • Ensure all required implementation actions from Change Notices are completed for assigned products.
  • Prepare cost estimates and technical scope for assigned products, custom work, and contract manufacturing activities.
  • Work with Engineering, Procurement, and Production to identify cost drivers, validate feasibility, and refine estimates.
  • Engage suppliers to obtain pricing and evaluate alternatives, escalating complex or high‑risk cost scenarios as required.
  • Support Sales with technical input on assigned opportunities without owning customer relationships or commercial negotiations.
  • Provide day‑to‑day electrical engineering and technical support for assigned products, including component selection and substitution.
  • Work with R&D, mechanical design, and sourcing teams to assess electrical and networking hardware components.
  • Escalate design decisions, non‑standard solutions, or technical risk to the Product Implementation Manager.
  • Prepare and maintain product and implementation documentation in accordance with established standards.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of SOPs, installation manuals, wiring schematics, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation efficiency, documentation quality, and cross‑functional coordination.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 10%.
  • Participate actively in Health & Safety programs, 5S activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
