About The Position

Abode Money is hiring a Product Engineer to own consumer experiences end to end, from the first landing page homeowners see through annual renewals. The role works directly with the CEO and growth team, ships weekly, and measures impact through product metrics. The engineer will build customer-facing experiences, run growth experiments, help launch new products, instrument product features, and make product decisions alongside design and growth.

The position is based in Austin, or requires willingness to relocate, and is in person five days a week. The company values ownership, speed, deep research, intellectual curiosity, effective use of AI, and a willingness to work hard and put in long hours. Compensation is a $150,000–$200,000 base salary plus equity.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience shipping consumer-facing products.
• Strong skills with React, TypeScript, and a modern backend.
• Former founder or early-stage engineer who takes ownership of outcomes.
• Care about the customer experience and how the product feels.
• Use AI every day to work faster.
• Be based in Austin or willing to relocate.
• Work in person five days a week.
• Willingness to work hard and put in long hours.

Responsibilities
