Product Engineer
About The Position
We’re looking for founding engineers with strong product instincts and an obsessive attention to detail. What we're doing at Ando Teams are already building AI agents and plugging them into Slack, email, and other tools. But those platforms weren’t designed for human–AI collaboration. Requirements
- 3+ years of full time SWE work with at least 1 year of senior IC responsibilities
- Experience building AI-powered apps
- Ability to work very fast without cutting corners on quality
- Taste: you care about details that others might miss, and you sweat them

Responsibilities
- Architect and ship core messaging infrastructure that feels instant, reliable, & magical
- Tend to the ‘invisible’ aspects of the product, such as retrieval & evals
- Prototype (alongside our designer) new interaction patterns for how humans and agents work together
- Create an API and agent developer platform that outside builders actually love to use
- Experiment with tool calling evals to figure out what really works in practice
- Iterate on our context and retrieval systems
- Raise our bar for engineering craft, help with recruiting, and hold the line on quality
- Use Ando every day, give blunt feedback, and turn it into product improvements
