Product Engineer- Requirements & Verification
About The Position
ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Product Engineer focused on requirements and verification for an onsite role in Carson, California. The engineer will support aerospace product requirements mapping, methods of compliance, and verification planning and execution. The role also contributes technical analysis and product design inputs, supports verification hardware and testing, and creates technical and project documentation. The engineer will work with production, suppliers, OEMs, and internal teams to help complete projects and ensure designs meet airworthiness standards, customer requirements, and internal standards.
Responsibilities
- Review aerospace product requirements mapping, methods of compliance, and requirement verification plans.
- Provide technical inputs for technical analysis.
- Provide design requirements and inputs to mechanical and electrical product design teams.
- Support procurement, build, and maintenance of verification unit hardware test setups.
- Support verification procedure writing, verification testing, and troubleshooting.
- Create technical and project documentation.
- Support production builds by investigating inspection reports and root-cause corrective actions.
- Apply sound engineering principles to ensure designs meet airworthiness standards, customer requirements, and WWS internal standards.
- Assess and support improvement projects.
- Interface with various groups to bring projects to completion.
- Interface with existing suppliers and OEMs.
