About The Position

We are seeking a Senior/Staff Product Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to own products end-to-end in early-stage engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of owning features and products at high-pedigree, fast-growing startups, with tangible business results. Experience building 0-to-1 agentic AI products is highly valued. We are looking for individuals with breadth of experience across multiple domains, particularly in agentic and applied AI, matching/recommendation systems, marketplaces, AI labor platforms, multi-sided platforms, recruiting, and serving non-technical users in antiquated industries. A Computer Science or other technical degree from a top 25 university is required. Strong product intuition, deep knowledge in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js, and experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and data models on PostgreSQL and Kafka/RabbitMQ are essential. The role requires comfort and excitement in shipping and leading projects at scale with high velocity, early-stage ambiguity, and cross-functional friction. This is an in-person, onsite role, 5 days per week. We are looking to avoid candidates with no prior startup experience or frequent career moves.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a software engineer.
• 5+ years of experience for Senior roles; 7+ years for Staff roles.
• Demonstrated track record owning features and products at high pedigree, fast-growing start-ups with tangible business results.
• Built 0-to-1 agentic AI products at fast-growing start-ups with high calibre teams.
• Breadth of experience across multiple domains/products, particularly in: agentic and applied AI, matching/recommendation systems, marketplaces, AI labour platforms, multi-sided platforms, recruiting, non-technical users in antiquated industries.
• Computer Science or other technical degree from a top 25 university.
• Strong product intuition and thinking on user problems or impact across the org.
• Deep in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Track record designing distributed systems, APIs, and data models on PostgreSQL and Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.
• Comfortable and truly excited to ship and lead projects at scale with high velocity, early-stage ambiguity, and cross-functional friction.
• Excited to be in-person and onsite 5 days per week.
