About The Position

Product engineering works with design and other back-end teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and reliability. Product Engineers typically support a product family or category and help ensure devices meet the specifications and quality targets defined in their data sheets. The role may also include sustaining support: working with design, ATD (process technology), manufacturing, test, quality, reliability, and marketing teams to optimize manufacturing flows after product release, reduce costs, and improve a device’s long-term development and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits, including their operation and analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Extensive hands-on experience with laboratory equipment for data collection, device debugging, or failure analysis, such as curve tracers, return loss analyzers, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience bench testing op-amps, ADCs, mixed-signal circuits, and digital circuits.
• Experience with bench validation and characterization PCBs.
• Experience with integrated circuit and device failure analysis.
• Programming skills for automating bench characterization equipment, such as LabVIEW or TestStand, along with C and/or C++.
• Extensive knowledge of statistics and tools for analyzing large characterization datasets, determining and setting production test limits, and predicting yield data.
• Working knowledge of what is required to take a product from development through production.
• Ability to work in a team comprising members of other functional groups.
• Strong time-management skills to enable on-time project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to take initiative and drive for results.
• Strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining project schedules.
