About The Position

The Product Engineer will be responsible for understanding customer design requirements, creating, communicating, validating, and launching products. This role involves developing tactical plans, managing program risk, and ensuring designs meet budget and cost targets. • Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).
• Bachelor's Level Degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.).
• 1-3 Minimum Years of relevant experience in automotive interiors.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)

Nice To Haves

• Experience leading programs with full engineering responsibility.
• Experience in injection molded products preferred.
• Experience in cut, saw and wrap designs.
• Experience in mechanisms preferred - buttons, door openers, glove box, levers.
• Siemens TeamCenter PLM experience.
• CATIA and NX experience.
• Good PC-Skills (Word, Excel, MS Project).
