About The Position

The Product Engineer is responsible for the technical execution of rugged embedded computing products throughout their lifecycle, from concept through qualification, production, and sustainment. Depending on program assignment, the engineer may serve as the primary technical design lead or the primary verification and qualification lead while remaining engaged across the full product lifecycle. The role combines systems thinking, engineering execution, technical leadership, problem-solving, and customer interaction. Product Engineers develop and refine technical solutions, translate customer and product requirements into practical and manufacturable designs, support product architecture and technical decisions, and lead hardware integration, bring-up, troubleshooting, and system validation. They develop test strategies, support verification and qualification, participate in design reviews and customer interactions, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering and program teams. The role also supports environmental qualification, risk management, production transition, sustaining engineering, lifecycle management, and coordination with suppliers and external engineering partners. Jira and Microsoft Project are used to support engineering execution and program visibility.
