Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Product Lead Engineer in the Technology Services Product Engineering & Delivery Team (Advanced Therapies), located in New Jersey, USA. The Product Lead Engineer will be responsible for owning the integration and API development across Advanced Therapies Patient Journey Orchestration systems. The person in this role will work in partnership with Technology Services Engineering, Technical Product Owners, Architects, Reliability Engineers, Test Engineers and contractors to implement new capabilities and improvements in the integrations' layer supporting this critical and meaningful set of systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with following AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, SQS.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with NestJS and Express.js frameworks.
  • Experience with code repository management, code merge, and code quality checks.
  • Experience with cloud and containerization technologies such as AWS EKS and Docker.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript and NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform.
  • Knowledge of unit tests, integration tests and end-to-end tests with Jest.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading end to end software implementations.
  • Knowledge on financial and resource management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (NodeJS, Python etc.).
  • Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and ETL tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact in TS for all topics related to integrations and APIs in Advanced Therapies Patient Journey Orchestration product group.
  • Drive design, development, testing and deployment of software solution, including ensuring automated testing to ensure solution quality.
  • Lead all inter-dependency analysis and run impact assessments related to changes and improvements affecting integrations and APIs.
  • Responsible for Application Development quotes, financial, vendor and resource management.
  • Responsible for timeline and release management of all changes and improvements related to integrations and APIs.
  • Single point of escalation in TS for issues and risks that might be connected to Patient Journey Orchestration integration.
  • Mentor other J&J employees and contractors within the squad.
  • Engage with other TS services, leverage and improve the use of standard J&J technologies and platforms.
  • Improve operational efficiency by developing additional automation tools and scripts (e.g., CI/CD automation, AI) in alignment with TS Engineering standards and platforms.
