About The Position

Sentry Equipment is seeking a Product Engineer IV to join their awesome team with a great culture. This role is responsible for managing clarifier drives and overseeing the product lifecycle from development, through manufacturing, and to customer integration. The ideal candidate will ensure products meet quality standards, are cost-effective, and are manufacturable. This position also provides technical assistance to less experienced engineers, technicians, and designers.

  • Applying and certifying applicable AGMA, ABMA, ASME, ATEX, ANSI, TEMA, CRN, or other codes and standards as required to product line(s)
  • Reviewing and approving Engineering Changes to products and parts
  • Leading projects related to products, processes, engineering tools to improve velocity, efficiency and innovation
  • Working with other departments to resolve issues with parts and products, revise designs and communicate revisions through the Engineering Change process
  • Performing all duties of a Design Engineer II

Responsibilities

  • Propose and develop custom engineer-to-order or rebuild design solutions for customers based on existing and new equipment, and review/approve designs prior to production release.
  • Lead and innovate new applications and product design, considering manufacturing, cost, and customer input.
  • Analyze and improve existing products in terms of manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
  • Direct others to complete projects related to new products, existing products, and custom engineer-to-order designs.
  • Apply and certify applicable AGMA, ABMA, ASME, ATEX, ANSI, TEMA, CRN, or other codes and standards as required to product line(s).
  • Review and approve Engineering Changes to products and parts.
  • Lead projects related to products, processes, and engineering tools to improve velocity, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Work with other departments to resolve issues with parts and products, revise designs, and communicate revisions through the Engineering Change process.
  • Perform all duties of a Design Engineer II and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
