This position will be on the Optum Health Solutions (OHS) team and will be accountable for the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Product. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management/product development experience
  • Client and executive presentation experience
  • Proven excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven to be self-directed individual with the ability to prioritize one’s work
  • Proven to leverage critical thinking skills to arrive at solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with levels of ambiguity - can effectively cope with change, can shift gears comfortably, can decide and act without having the total picture, comfortably handles risk and uncertainty
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals by working collaboratively with others in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and implement

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategy with respect to value proposition, positioning, product portfolio(s), distribution and product features/function; serve as a subject matter expert
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive product execution, resolve challenges, and achieve business objectives
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including usage data, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth, to identify opportunities for optimization and make data-driven decisions; manage product P&L
  • Influence innovation & integration across the business to ensure aligned; cohesive progress across technology, marketing and service operations; Create cost-benefit analyses and frameworks to evaluate prioritization of new development
  • Engage existing and new key clients for strategic discussions on market trend impact, current issues and new product concepts
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. A directive style is a must
