About The Position

LumApps is seeking an experienced Product Director to lead its Communication & Collaboration (C&C) product tribe. This tribe is central to the LumApps platform, focusing on content creation, knowledge management, and real-time collaboration features for a global customer base. The role is crucial for defining the vision and strategy, driving roadmap execution, and ensuring the delivery of value to customers and the business. The Product Director will translate strategy into action, empower teams, and meet adoption, usage, and satisfaction goals. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking and operational execution, involving roadmap definition, mentoring product managers, and representing customer needs. The Product Director will lead a tribe comprising four teams (CMS, Social, Play, Frontline Comms) and directly manage 3-4 Product Managers. The teams are distributed across R&D hubs in Paris, Lyon, Sophia Antipolis, Zurich, and Krakow, fostering an international and collaborative environment. Close collaboration with engineering, design, and other cross-functional partners is essential for driving alignment and consistent delivery across locations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Director, Head of Product, or Senior Product Manager, leading multiple teams in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • A strong balance of strategic vision and execution ability.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling product organizations, with multi-year experience managing PMs and influencing across functions.
  • Deep customer empathy and ability to act as a trusted expert for buyer personas and customer needs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A track record of driving measurable product adoption, usage, and satisfaction outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market collaboration with Sales, CS, and Marketing.
  • Familiarity with modern product discovery frameworks (e.g., continuous discovery habits, dual-track agile).
  • Experience and strong understanding of the Internal Communication, Knowledge Management, and Real-Time Collaboration domains and use cases in both desk and frontline scenarios, and the competitive landscape.
  • Professional proficiency in English (C1 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience launching AI-powered features (e.g., Agents, LLM-based copilots, etc.) and a strong understanding of the underlying infrastructure required to scale them (e.g., RAG systems, Agent Hubs, and AI Trust & Governance models).

  • Public speaking or thought leadership experience as a domain expert in your buyer persona’s field.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain a strategic, data-informed tribe roadmap aligned to company objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Ensure alignment of team-level roadmaps, sequence bets, manage interdependencies, and deliver against commitments.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert for key buyer personas (e.g., Internal Communication and Corporate Communication managers) and engage customers, prospects, and GTM teams with a compelling narrative.
  • Institutionalize discovery, experimentation, and evidence-based decision-making through qualitative and quantitative research, product analytics, and market signals.
  • Mentor and develop product managers, improving decision quality, prioritization, and backlog/roadmap hygiene.
  • Define, track, and communicate KPIs/OKRs for the domain (adoption, activation, engagement, satisfaction), and regularly share progress and trade-offs.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, CS, Marketing, and PX; serve as the escalation point to resolve conflicts and keep delivery unblocked.
  • Drive the Agentification of core Communication & Collaboration workflows, focusing on AI agents for content creation, real-time content scoring, and multi-style rewriting.
