About The Position
This position is responsible for developing upholstery samples and making patterns for the production and manufacturing of upholstery items.
Requirements
- Basic CAD experience required
- Basic computer experience required
- Minimum 5 years in upholstery manufacturing with an understanding of pattern making and product development
Responsibilities
- Will be working with product managers and engineers to develop upholstery items
- Will be making patterns for production, both hard patterns and CAD patterns
- Must have a full range of knowledge of the upholstery manufacturing process
- Create manufacturing specifications for cut, sew, upholstery and frame building
- Ability to communicate with outside vendors
- Works with minimal supervision and able to meet deadlines
- Overtime may be required at times
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
