About The Position
Commercial Sewing is looking for a Product Development Technician to support new and existing products through design, development, testing, and manufacturing implementation. If you enjoy variety, project ownership, and working cross-functionally with engineering and production teams, this could be the right opportunity for you.
Requirements
- Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in product development or manufacturing
- CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Support products throughout their lifecycle
- Create CAD models and engineering drawings
- Design production fixtures and tooling
- Assist with prototypes and product testing
- Improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality
- Create documentation, specifications, and work instructions
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause investigations
- Maintain ERP and engineering records
