As a Product Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in bringing new dietary supplement products from concept to market, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, optimizing formulations, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver safe, effective, and high-performing products. You will drive product innovation, support lab-scale formulation development, and ensure regulatory and quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Dietary supplement product development experience
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and GMP adherence
• Experience with lab-scale formulation development
• Understanding of ingredient research for safety, efficacy, and quality
• Ability to manage labeling requirements, ingredient validation, and regulatory documentation
• Experience collaborating with QA/QC, manufacturing, and packaging teams
• Skills in ingredient selection, cost analysis, and pricing strategies
• Experience partnering with internal teams and external vendors

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the nutraceutical industry
• Familiarity with flavor houses and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize dietary supplement formulations, including ingredient selection, cost analysis, and pricing strategies aligned with nutraceutical industry standards
• Coordinate product development processes, including lab-scale batching, pilot production, and cross-functional collaboration with QA/QC, manufacturing, and packaging teams
• Ensure FDA compliance and GMP adherence by managing labeling requirements, ingredient validation, and regulatory documentation for dietary supplements
• Conduct ingredient research for safety, efficacy, and quality, supporting raw material qualification and product specification development
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., flavor houses, suppliers) to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and consumer appeal
