Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Nutritional Science, Food Science, Biochemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years in product development or formulation (supplements, functional foods, or natural products).
- Strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to interpret scientific research and nutritional data.
- Excellent communication and vendor relationship skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in both supplement formulation and functional food development.
- Familiarity with market trends in clean-label nutrition.
Responsibilities
- Generate and present original product concepts.
- Research ingredients and review scientific literature.
- Source and evaluate new raw materials.
- Partner with manufacturers to solve formulation challenges.
- Ensure formulas meet compliance, safety, and label claim standards.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through launch.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Compliance, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations).
- Review marketing materials for scientific accuracy.
- Analyze competitor products and pricing trends.
