About The Position

This position is based in Fridley, Minnesota and operates in an onsite work environment. The role partners closely with teams across Research & Development, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Reimbursement, and Commercial functions to advance next-generation therapy platforms from concept through global launch. Travel up to 20% is required. The Core Team Leader (CTL) is accountable for the management, direction, and execution of all phases of system development and commercialization, from product definition through development, manufacturing readiness, production ramp, and global launch. Success in this role requires a strong balance of Program Leadership, Clinical Acumen, and Business Acumen to guide complex cross-functional programs while aligning technical innovation, customer needs, and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific field and 10+ years of technical experience with 7+ years of leadership, program management, or managerial experience; OR advanced degree in Engineering or Scientific field and 8+ years of technical experience with 7+ years of leadership, program management, or managerial experience.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional product development programs through multiple phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Experience managing program scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Experience collaborating across Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, Marketing, and Finance organizations.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and driving decisions within matrixed organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Scientific field or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience leading software development programs using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) development in a regulated environment.
  • Experience supporting global product commercialization programs in a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of medical device development, clinical evidence generation, reimbursement strategy, and regulatory processes.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex cross-functional product development programs from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment on objectives, milestones, resources, and deliverables.
  • Provide Program Leadership by establishing program vision, execution strategy, schedules, budgets, risk management plans, and governance processes to achieve business objectives.
  • Apply Clinical Acumen to translate customer, clinician, and patient needs into product strategies, release priorities, workflows, and evidence-generation plans.
  • Partner with Clinical, Marketing, Research & Technology, and Reimbursement teams to support product adoption, market access, and long-term commercial success.
  • Demonstrate Business Acumen by aligning program execution with revenue, investment, commercialization, and return-on-investment objectives.
  • Represent the program with leadership, key opinion leaders, customers, and external stakeholders, communicating product vision, technology capabilities, and competitive positioning.
  • Drive execution of development, verification, validation, regulatory submission, manufacturing readiness, and production ramp activities.
  • Monitor program performance, proactively manage issues and risks, and recommend scope, schedule, and investment decisions to leadership.
