About The Position

The Product Development Engineer Intern will contribute to the development and support of Broadband Plasma (BBP) products in KLA’s Semiconductor Products and Customers business unit. The role involves analytical data analysis and optical system qualification, applying knowledge from multiple technical disciplines. The internship’s primary focus is developing monitoring scripts for system health checks, including machine control for optical imaging systems and image analysis. The intern will also assist with calibration testing and the development of related procedures.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of related experience.
• Currently pursuing a master's or Ph.D. degree in an engineering field.
• Experience with optical imaging systems, including hands-on design and image acquisition.
• Programming proficiency, preferably in Python.
• Understanding of machine control and image processing.
