About The Position

David Yurman is hiring a Product Development Intern to support its Women’s Product Development team as part of the paid, nine-week Summer 2027 Internship Program in New York City. The internship runs from June 7 through August 6, 2027, and offers hands-on experience in product development for a luxury jewelry brand, along with mentorship, networking, and learning opportunities.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field.
Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
Strong multitasking, organizational, and project management skills.
Extreme attention to detail.
Cross-functional collaboration skills.
Willingness to contribute to the team in any capacity.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn about product development processes.

Responsibilities

Support the Women’s Product Development team with new-market vendor project kits, including CAD posting requests, creating mechanicals, releasing purchase orders, and assigning vendors in PLM.
Research industry standards, including earring fits and tennis bracelet sizing.
Upload and enter quality assurance testing results in PLM for future access.
Create mechanicals for existing components for internal and external use.
Work with Project Managers to review new-market samples, identify callouts, and provide feedback for Design Team review.
Attend daily Design meetings with the Product Development team to build knowledge of jewelry and manufacturing.
Contribute to outstanding ASR projects, an initiative to establish second sources for key business styles.
Assist with product verification in partnership with the Merchandising Vault and Ecommerce teams.
Work with the reporting Project Manager to learn about Product Development challenges and help brainstorm ways to mitigate them.
