Mission Loans is seeking experienced mortgage professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment without losing focus on quality of work and delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a Product Development Manager, your primary mission is to manage and develop product lending guidelines and research potential product offerings that meet the needs of both the company and its customers.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-3 years’ experience in mortgage lending product development
• Must have deep understanding of the mortgage industry, including market trends and regulatory requirements
• Thorough understanding of agency & investor underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures
• Proven ability to manage project timelines
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop product lending guidelines and matrices
• Research potential product offerings
• Organize and run product development meetings
• Provide product assessments and comparisons
• Coordinate and manage new product rollout
• Maintain investor guidelines and coordinate announcements of changes to the floor
• Provide product support for Underwriting and Secondary departments
