About The Position

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Policy Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA to support our Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-3/5/7 Support Services contract.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on MS Office products, for example, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
  • Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
  • Require minimal supervision in the fast-paced, critical environment of the Army Headquarters.
  • Must be proficient in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) (formerly Task Management Tool).
  • Ability to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.
  • Ability to provide executive, technical, and administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Experience with Multinational, Interagency on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands in Policy, Bi-lateral exchanges, proficient in planning and execution of working groups.
  • Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to perform duties.
  • Ability to assist with drafting Army EXORDs, FRAGOs, meeting minutes and EXSUMs and strategic documents.
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: TS/SCI

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development, review, and maintenance of all mission assurance policies, regulations, and guidance documents.
  • Ensure policy alignment with current Mission Assurance (MA) Construct requirements and coordinate policy updates with governance bodies and stakeholders across the Army enterprise.
  • Review, analyze, and update AR 525-26 (Mission Assurance) to ensure alignment with current mission assurance requirements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain DA Pam 525-26 (Mission Assurance Procedures) with detailed implementation guidance.
  • Develop and update Mission Assurance Program Guidance documents to provide clear direction for program implementation.
  • Develop and update Army MA Annual Report.
  • Draft new policies and procedures as mission assurance requirements evolve and new threats emerge.
  • Conduct comprehensive policy reviews to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas requiring clarification or enhancement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for mission assurance policy matters with senior leadership and decision-making bodies.
  • Facilitate policy coordination meetings and working groups to ensure stakeholder input and consensus.
  • Coordinate policy development and updates with Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs) & Army Commands (ACOMs), and Direct Reporting Units (DRU).
  • Develop training materials and briefings to support policy rollout and implementation.
  • Serve as the primary MA Knowledge Management (KM) manager responsible for developing and maintaining a centralized repository for all MA policy-related documents and templates.
  • Complete all MA policy-related ETMS-2 tasks.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to plan and execute the annual MA Workshop.
